Hello, I’m Amber Boesel (She/They)

Amber believes in the importance of awareness and engagement with holistic perspectives between the intersection of social, cultural, historical, and individual experiences. She believes that through expanded understanding of these domains and lived experiences as well as their impact, we can operate from a place of compassion and empowerment towards the self and community. Amber considers access to mental healthcare an integral piece within holistic wellness, and commits to providing ethical and compassionate care to foster increased self-compassion, balance, and an embodied sense of empowered identity.

Amber is an analog photographer and sculptor with a passion for ecological and sustainable art processes. They believe that through engagement with the natural world via art and experience, one can explore the ebb and flow of connectivity and meaning-making both at an individual core and broader point of connection. Sessions with Amber might include reflective art-making within an open-studio or guided process using traditional, found, and experimental art materials while maintaining safe studio practices. Verbal processing and conversation including creative and metaphorical curiosity can also be experienced. Time spent connecting with and exploring nature through guided walks, gardening, and eco-based art-making may also be integrated into sessions.
